The records that are now being added to this page are from the South Cemetery. When I researched the cemetery records for Marenisco Township in 2001 to 2003 I found that we had 126 grave sites that were marked that there was a burial, but we did not know who was buried there. I found 86 people that we know are buried in our cemetery, but we do not know where. We place the 86 people that we know are buried in our cemetery into places on our map, so everyone we know that is buried in our cemetery has a section, lot and side. We placed people with the same last name close to each other. This may mean that two Johnsons are close to one another but may not be related. Over time, we will be linking information such as obits, and death certificates (the ones we have) to the names on this page. Our oldest burial was a set of twins: Ira M Ormes, born June 1888, died September 1, 1888 and We are continuing to do the research on the North Cemetery and will be adding the records as we progress. |
